CRUISE SAFE – CRUISE WELL
From 1 October 2022, Murray Princess guests will no longer be required to provide proof of a negative rapid antigen test, or proof of vaccination against COVID-19 at check-in.
The team at Murray Princess are committed to providing a safe cruise experience for all guests and crew and will continue to follow the advice and direction of the relevant health authorities when making decisions about our vessels, cruises, and tours.
Murray Princess and all passengers are required to abide by SA Government Health guidelines and the restrictions in place to manage the spread of COVID-19. https://www.covid-19.sa.gov.au. This may result in changes to bookings and reservations, and passengers will be advised of options for any bookings affected at the time of the situation.
Exposure to COVID-19 is an inherent risk in any public location where people are present. Whilst all precautions are taken during our cruises, with stringent cleaning and sanitising protocols in place, we cannot guarantee that you will not be exposed to the virus.
Face masks will not be required to be worn when onboard the Murray Princess, or its coach services, however guests may wish to wear them particularly in situations where it is difficult to social distance, or, through personal choice.
Rapid antigen test kits are available onboard and can be provided to guests, should they become unwell. Should a guest test positive to COVID-19 whilst cruising, they will be required to isolate in their cabin or may be moved to a dedicated cabin to isolate (pending cabin availability). Their health and wellbeing will be closely monitored by crew and once the opportunity to disembark is available, the crew will assist the guest, where possible, to arrange their own transport.
If a guest feels unwell or returns a positive Covid-19 result prior to commencing their cruise, we ask that they do not travel and contact our Sales Centre team on 1300 729 938 as soon as possible.
