2. Special Event Cruises
Special conditions and deposit arrangements may apply to special event cruises e.g.: Music Cruises, Christmas, and New Year's Eve Cruises etc.
3. Murray princess Group Special 15 or more paying passengers
Group Fares (5% off brochure fare) subject to availability, not applicable to special event cruises. 16th person (tour leader) cruises free.
4. Accommodation
60 cabins and staterooms each with private ensuite, soaps, hairdryers, electric blankets, shampoo, towels and daily servicing. Each cabin is approximately 12 sq metres.
Staterooms (6) open onto the outside deck walkway and have a mini-bar, fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. All staterooms have a queen bed. Outside Cabins (45) open onto the outside deck walkway and have picture windows. Inside Cabins (9) open onto an inside passageway and have small portholes facing the outside (access by the stairwell only). Group allotments are held on twin share Outside Cabins. Most rooms have twin beds. A $60 per cabin per night surcharge applies for Outside and Inside Cabins with a double bed, subject to availability.
Single/Sole Occupancy Cabins may be smaller than standard twin rooms. A single supplement is applicable for sole use cabins.
Murray Princess will make every effort to assign specific cabins, cabin numbers or locations on the vessel if requested. If this is not possible, Murray Princess reserves the right to make changes to cabin allocation, within the category booked, without prior notice. When requesting a specific cabin number, your cabin can still be changed for operational reasons.
5. General Health and Fitness
A good level of fitness and health is required to participate in Murray Princess cruises. In some destinations there are extensive sightseeing excursions by foot, which includes climbing of stairs. Mobility is needed for boarding or alighting coaches, tender boats, and mooring locations.
A Fitness to Travel Declaration is required from all passengers and must be completed at least 60 days prior to travel. For bookings made within 60 days of travel, the form must be completed no later than 48 hours after booking. The form can be completed here.
It is the group operator's responsibility to ensure that the passengers within their group have completed their Fitness to Travel Declarations, and advised Murray Princess of any pre-existing medical conditions or health and mobility related concerns that may affect the normal conduct of a holiday package and the enjoyment of other passengers.
Murray Princess welcomes passengers with disabilities or special needs provided they are accompanied by a companion capable of providing all necessary assistance. Any disability or medical condition requiring special attention must be reported to Murray Princess at the time of booking.
Murray Princess is not responsible for any loss of enjoyment, loss of touring, or loss of monies should the customer be unable to participate in the tour or in any or all of the activities. Our crew will endeavour to assist all passengers but are unable to guaranteed provision of individual assistance to any passenger for walking, dining, boarding or alighting coaches or other transportation vehicles or other personal needs.
6. Group Bookings and Release
A booking will be made for your group in Outside Cabins. A tentative rooming list is required 150 days (5 months) prior to sailing for deposit. Invoice for deposit based on naming list 120 days (4 months) prior to sailing. Under 90 days (3 months), if availability permits, additional cabins may be held for last minute business subject to deposit provisions.
Murray Princess at all times, reserves the right to release unsold cabins if required. No previous traveller discounts available within group bookings - this is the responsibility of the group operator booking conditions.
7. Deposits, Payments and Fitness to Travel Declaration
- A non-refundable deposit of $200 per person is required 120 days prior to sailing
- When a booking is made within 120 days of departure date then a deposit is required within 7 days after booking
- Final payment is required 90 days prior to sailing
- All passengers are required to complete our Fitness to Travel Declaration 30 to 60 days prior to travel
8. Cancellation Fees
- 90 days, or more, prior to sailing: $200 per person
- 30 to 89 days prior to sailing: 50% of agreed fare
- 30 days, or less, prior to sailing: 100% of agreed fare
No cruise credits or transfers to an alternative cruise date available. Travel insurance is highly recommended.
